Ridge has advocated for single-vineyard winemaking since 1962, their philosophy being the greatest wines are produced form individual terroir. Since its launch Ridge has been critically acclaimed and popular with tops chefs around the world. This vineyard, situated in Dry Creek Valley, is a planted with a mixture of mostly old vine zinfandel with petite sirah, carignane and mataro.

The 2019 Lytton Springs has expressive aromas of raspberries, pepper, anise and rose. The palate is rich and full, with some darker blackberry. Firm, ripe tannins and a balancing touch of acidity from the carignane component really makes this a complete wine, and a Californian classic.
Pairs perfectly with braised beef ribs.
