Monkey 47 Gin 50cl

This unusual gin from the Black Forest in Germany, and contains a unique ingredient of cranberries. The 47 comes from the number of botanicals that go into the gin and it is bottled at an ABV of 47%. The blend of these 47 ingredients has proven very successful after the gin won Gold in the World Spirit Awards 2011 in the gin category and Gold at the IWSC competition in London.

The nose consists of citrus fruits, woody notes and botanical sweetness. The palate is very complex with multiple layers of spices, fruit and herbs. It develops on the palate and is will structured with citrus flavours that segue into pine and wood leaving a good, dry finish.
