Klein Constantia KC Pinot Noir South Africa Red Wine 75cl displays the true essence of the varietal whilst keeping it light, fresh and accessible at any time. In order to do this, we have sourced grapes from two of the best Pinot Noir terroirs in the Western Cape; Elgin and Hemel & Aarde. Each bringing their own unique character to the wine – Elgin showing light red fruit and Hemel & Aarde the more serious rich and complex character.

Grape: Pinot Noir
Dark cherry red in appearance, the nose displays earthy aromas of red fruit with
a subtle hint of spice. The fruit follows through onto a vibrant and full palate,
coupled with velvety tannins and a fresh acidity. The wine concludes with a long
and delicate finish.
Serve with loin of Springbok infused with juniper berries and cloves, roasted and
served with polenta, forest mushrooms and quince jelly/paste.

The grapes are fermented on skins for a short period of time and pressed off before the end of alcoholic fermentation. Thereafter, the wine was aged on the fine lees for 9 months in a combination of 2nd and 3rd fill barrels and then blended, lightly filtered and bottled.
