Edmond Briottet Crème de Châtaigne Chestnut 70cl

The difference between creams and liqueurs arises out of the proportion of sugar employed -- a liqueur contains 100 grams of sugar per litre at least, against 250 grams of sugar at least with regards to a cream.

The Creme de Chataigne is produced using a maceration of chestnuts from the Ardèche department in France. The Briottet's Chestnut Cream beautifully reflects these flavours of chestnuts on both the nose and palate.
