2021 got off to an unusual start for Provence. After an early budburst at the beginning of March, freezing temperatures in April affected the earliest vines. The maturation cycle was delayed by about ten days and the vines weren’t able to catch up during the season. This was because after a wet spring a dry summer followed. These weather conditions delayed the harvest which was from the 20th of August to the 15th of September and several different time slots were required to pick grapes on the same plot.
On the nose, citrus fruit, white peaches and bitter almonds with a hint of delicate florals. Full-bodied with lingering, mineral finish.
