Angostura 5 Year Old Caribbean Rum 70cl

Angostura 5 Year Old Caribbean Rum 70cl has a similar same blend of light and heavy rums as the 7 year old has which is distilled in Angostura's five-column continuous still. The rum is however aged slightly less than the 7 year old, in American oak bourbon barrels for between five and eight years. After receiving the filtering process, removing impurities through the use of charcoal, you are left with a beautiful pale amber coloured rum.

The Angostura 5 year old plays both parts of a lively palate and a smooth finish, making it an excellent option for cocktails with its distinctive aromas, flavours and colour. It has subtle notes of burnt caramel and vanilla, mixed with apple fruitiness.
